Preparation and Properties of Broadband Terahertz Absorbing Coatings

Abstract This study designs and prepares broadband terahertz absorbing coatings. The electromagnetic simulation software is used to simulate analyze the influence of permittivity, thickness coatings incident angle wave on reflectivity absorption within range 0.25 THz ~ 3 THz. Results show that as real part dielectric constant increase, low-reflection peak moves lower frequencies. When imaginary change, intensity changes relatively vastly. Terahertz with different thicknesses are prepared, test results consistent results. have excellent performance THz, exceeds 2.5 when bandwidth than -10dB.
